Setting Up SpiritedMachine Launcher for Editing (OPTIONAL)
This is optional, but I highly recommend having SpirtedMachine ARMA 2 Launcher. If you don't have it, simply run ARMA 2 in windowed mode, it makes editing easier.
Start off by setting up SpirtedMachine launcher for editing.
If you have ARMA 3, browse to your \Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3 folder and find arma3.exe and open it. Click no for do you own ARMA II: Operation Arrowhead.
If you have ARMA 2 & or Operation Arrowhead, then find arma2.exe first and open it and then click yes for do you own ARMA II: Operation Arrowhead if you do own it and find your arma2oa.exe .
If you want to fiddle around with the addons section of it, you can refer to this link. Otherwise, let's set this launcher up for editing.
Click on launch options.
Tick on No Splash Screen, Window Mode, No Pause (if you don't want the game to pause if you hit esc or alt tabbed for testing purposes), Default World (set it to empty), and Show Script Errors
If you have an extra profile for editing, then check Profile and select that profile.
